President: Ashley W
Hey ladies! I am so glad you are here reading and learning about our chapter! Here are a few things about me! I am originally from Austin, Texas and moved to Orlando growing up. I am currently a senior and majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I plan on becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist and helping children with special needs. I plan on attending graduate school next fall. I love sports, softball especially, listening to country music and One Direction, binge watching FRIENDS, and I have a passion for traveling. My favorite place in the entire world is Laguna Beach, California I could spend forever there. I joined Phi Lamb in Fall 2014 and it was the best decision I have ever made. Never in a million years would have expected myself to be here but now I couldn’t imagine my life without it. The love and support that I have from my friends here in Phi Lamb have made me do things that I never imagined possible, like being President. I was born and raised in a Catholic family and was always brought in the church, but never experienced the fellowship like I have here in the sorority. My favorite verse at the moment is “Take delight in the Lord, He will dive you the desires of your heart.”~ Psalm 37:4 I cannot wait to serve you all this up-incoming year and get to know each and everyone of you. If you are looking to find a sisterhood built on Christ and his love, you’ve found the place! Feel free to reach out to me about anything!
Vice President: Rochelle
Hey, ladies! My name is Rochelle and I’ll be serving as the Vice President of Phi Lamb this year! I joined Phi Lamb Spring 2015 and I’ve felt at home ever since. Being apart of this sisterhood has given me friends I can depend on and girls that keep me accountable to the way of God. As for my school life, I’m a junior majoring in Health Sciences: Pre-Clinical track. I fell on love with UCF before I started here freshman year and I continue to fall more and more in love with this University! I hope to enjoy lots events with you ladies and share God’s love with all you!
With Lamb love, Rochelle H♡
Hi friends! Welcome to the Sigma Phi Lambda Officer Page for the UCF (Alpha Beta) Chapter! My name is Raelyn, and I’ve spent the majority of my life in Palatka, Florida. I am a sophomore majoring in Medical Laboratory Science with a minor in Psychology. I hope to eventually get into the research side of working in the lab after I get out of school. A personal goal that I have for this year is to remain open to opportunities that God places before me, and being a true servant for the Lord. I love traveling, reading, Netflix, and spending time with the lovely people that I get to call friends. I am beyond blessed to serve as Chaplain for the 2016-2017 year, and equally excited. Coming into UCF I was open to getting involved somewhere if I felt like it was somewhere where I could grow and felt like I belonged, and Phi Lamb proved to be a great fit. From the moment I walked into my first night of Recruitment I could feel that it was the path for me. I joined Phi Lamb Fall 2015, and I never thought that I would be serving as an officer, especially not so soon, but it just goes to prove that God’s plans are greater than my own. I’ve served on retreat committee for the past two semesters, and have helped wherever else I was needed. A goal I have for Phi Lamb this year is that everyone would be able to form relationships with each other that glorify the Lord and his purpose for our lives. I cannot wait to see what is to come this year. The verse that I keep close to my heart going into this next year is “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Please feel free to ask me questions about Phi Lamb, or just life in general!
Hey y’all! I’m Autumn, I was born and raised here in Central Florida in a town called Oviedo. I will be serving as Secretary this year! I’m starting my senior year as a Business major and I will be minoring in Marketing and Health Services Administration. I hope to work in the field of Community Relations when I graduate for a sports team. Last year in the fall of 2015 I joined Phi Lamb and it changed my life. I have met so many wonderful people through Phi Lamb and feel like I have also created a stronger relationship with God along this journey. I’m really looking forward to working with the other officers to serve you all this year! I can’t wait to see what God has planned for us all! My favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31 which says “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” I love to use this verse as a constant reminder to TRUST in the Lord and that he will give me the strength I need to face any challenge that might come my way.
Treasurer: Ashley G
Hello ladies! My name is Ashley and I will be serving as Treasurer this year! I am a south Floridian, born and raised, and a second year student with a major in Journalism. I’ve loved to write my entire life and my dream is to work for a professional news source. I joined Phi Lamb in the Fall of 2015 (shout out to the Omicron class!) and served as a Recruitment Captain in Spring of 2016. I grew up in the church but never had a significant number of Christian friends before joining Phi Lamb. I’m so grateful that I took a leap of faith and joined because I have become part of an incredible group of girls. It’s very fulfilling to be surrounded with sisters who love God and seek to make UCF and the world a better place. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to serve this year, as I grow closer to my current sisters and get to know new ones! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, partaking in Netflix marathons, traveling, eating cheesecake, and loudly singing along to the radio. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me through social media or in person. I hope you’ll join our amazing sisterhood! “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a pure conscience and a sincere faith.” 1 Timothy 1:5.
